Project "New Ways"

Work of joint analysis

For decades, educationalists have been seeking ways of improving classroom performance -- often without significant results.

The researchers, educationalists, psychologists and therapists involved in this project studied the reasons why improving the quality of teaching has often proved to be so hard. They agreed that an unwillingess to accept new approaches, a lack of information, and a lack of motivation among teachers were significant factors.

The following projects support the "Project New Ways", and offer courses and seminars on Afro-Brazilian culture:

  • Project "The child in music and music in the child"
  • Guitar courses and seminars
  • Workshops at Brazilian beaches
  • Literature Seminar: "Afro-Brazilian History of Music and Rhythm"
  • Rhythm Performance and Good Mood
  • Bossa Nova seminar
