"The percussion workshop with Sheik Silva, we all have in a very
good memory. It was great to experience different rhythms by using
the whole body in a nice and relaxed atmosphere.
In fact, Sheik
made us dance and move. First we learned to play with sticks on the
floor, we sang and finally we even played simple techniques with
congas and other instruments. We often think back to this exeptional
seminar where we had a lot of fun."

Commercial school "Handelsakademie und Handelschule" in Waidhofen
"I really like to think back to Sheik Silvas percussion workshop held
at the comercial school (Handelsakademie and Handelschule) in Waidhofen.
One day long he worked with about 15 students with a lot of esprit, humor
and professionality.
I was fascinated by the easy way Sheik made personal contact with the
students. They were very motivated and ready to appreciate the wonderful
secrets of the world of percussion.
His understanding of the pupils
and their needs meant that he was able to get information across quickly.
I also recognized his own huge enthusiasm and his big range of methods,
including a lot of body exercises.
After the workshop, our students
very proudly presented their newly acquired skills at the graduation ball.
